The Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 Convertible will be unveiled at the Salon de los Angeles, recently confirmed as U.S. mark. The most powerful convertible ever produced by Chevrolet engine will sharethe coupe: a powerful supercharged 6.2 V8 that delivers 580 bhppower and a torque figure of 754 Nm.
The Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 Roadster goes on sale in late 2012 (Chevrolet Camaro convertible video), and sports will compete withthe likes of Aston Martin DB9 Volante (470 hp), Mercedes SL 63AMG (518 hp), 911 Turbo S (530 hp) or Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 (550 hP).
The Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 Convertible includes numerousmechanical improvements to the absence of roof does not penalizeits benefits, and they are close to those of a coupe.
